Preventing Burnout - One on-One Coaching
This one to one coaching is available at the times scheduled or at other mutually agreed times at no extra charge.
We also offer an online e-Learning short course which is available 24/7 and via video-conference to any organisation or group.
Burnout is a state of chronic stress that leads to physical and emotional exhaustion, cynicism and detachment as well as feelings of ineffectiveness and lack of accomplishment. It can seriously impact our physical and mental health. What is the difference between stress, burnout and vicarious trauma? Can I do anything to prevent it?
Most people are unaware of how to recognise the signs and symptoms of burnout at the crucial early stages where it is more easily dealt with.
There are two sessions. The first runs for 90 minutes on the dates highlighted in the calendar and the second session, which is 60 minutes, is booked at a mutually agreeable time. Email support is included for thirty days after the first session.
This one on one coaching will provide participants with the opportunity to recognise and respond to the signs and symptoms of burnout. These one on one sessions will reflect the needs and priorities of the person being coached. However all sessions will generally include discussion and coaching on the following topics as a guide.
- Getting to know you and establishing your goals.
- How does your work impact you?
- Understanding burnout and vicarious trauma?
- Recognising the signs and symptoms.
- Proactive self care strategies.
- Developing your personal burnout prevention plan.
- Putting the plan into action.
